The very first clinic I took as a beginner was with Catherine Parenteau, the third-ranked women’s pickleball player in the world (as of 2023).  When asked what she attributed her incredible success to her response was concise and clear.  Drills! She told me that playing was going to improve my game but to really improve my game I needed to drill and drill frequently.
